Reflection

Today’s verse shows us a desperate cry for help in an impossible situation. A parent agonized over the plight of his son who was tormented. The disciples had prayed, but those prayers were left seemingly unanswered. Rather than give up, the man ran to Jesus with tenacious bravery. There was no time for pretending, for real help demanded honest faith. The Lord received his cry at this crossroad of belief and unbelief. Are you in a similar place? Please bring your heart to the  Lord. He wants to help.
