“Peace. Be still.” - Mark 4:39
The struggle was real. Jesus and his disciples were caught in a fierce storm while out at sea. It appeared that they would surely perish as the disciples cried out, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” It was at this moment that Jesus intervened. The winds ceased. The waves stopped. Everything calmed. How? Jesus brought peace. Jesus is peace. Are you surrounded by waves of sorrow or difficulty? If so, consider calling out to the Lord. He longs to bring peace that passes understanding into your heart and soul.
