Reflection

Simon Peter was about to deny the Lord three times before the rooster crowed. Jesus prepared Simon by sharing difficult and hopeful truth. Simon would go through a severe faith crisis, but that would not be the end of the story. Jesus had already prayed and knew the end from the beginning. Simon would get to the other side, not only stronger himself, but he would strengthen others too. Even as our Lord prayed for Simon, He is praying for you. No matter what difficulties may arise, there is always hope in Christ.
