“You are those who have stood by Me in my trials.” - Luke 22:28
Jesus gathered His disciples for a final meal where they ate, drank, and honored covenant together. Jesus wanted them to know how appreciative He was that they had stood by Him in His trials thus far. His greatest trial was about to happen, His crucifixion, including the ultimate confrontation and conquering of the power of sin and death in all of us. Trials confront each of us. We, too, are helped as we stand by one another in difficulty. We can thank God that Friendship Village is a community that cares and supports one another. What a great place to be!
