We live in a world that often seems to be in flux. Political, public, and personal crises always seem to be emerging somewhere. One storm finally passes, and before long another one rises up. It’s easy to become weary, worried, and frustrated. Yet, we can be assured that at all times the Lord remains consistent and reliable with both His character and His commitments. His Word never returns empty, but always accomplishes that which it is sent to do. God is faithful to His promises and ever focused on our good. No matter what shenanigans seem to happen around us, nothing can preclude the work of His love in us as we keep our hearts fixed on Him. Nothing else in this life is certain, but the Word of God stands forever!
