Welcome to the near year! Collectively, it seems like all of us are so ready to leave 2020 behind and embrace something new. But what will make this year any different than the one before? It comes down to the choices we make. We will we put our hope in the Lord? Will we trust Him with our lives and honor Him with our actions? Here’s good news: at all times, His presence is with us! In Luke 21, Jesus told His listeners that hard times were ahead, but that didn’t mean God was absent from the scene. Rather, His Kingdom – His rule, presence, and power – is still present to lead us through and keep us in peace. As the new year unfolds, let’s choose to hold on to our trust in the Lord. He is surely holding on to us!
