"Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector." - Luke 18:10
Jesus told a parable about two men who went to a prayer meeting. The place was crowded so each stood at a distance from the others, but their motives were completely different. One man stood apart as he boasted of his good works, for he considered himself as being better than those people. The other man knew he was guilty of terrible choices and cried out for mercy. What determined who was made right with God and who was not? It was the condition of their hearts. When we own our mistakes, commit to change, and turn to God, He sends a flood of mercy…every time!
