Though many of the disciples were expert sailors and were well acquainted with navigating the Sea of Galilee, they were still caught by surprise when a sudden and unexpected storm overtook them. The adversity they faced was overwhelming. Jesus met their fear by joining them and bringing His peace. There is no night so dark, no wind so strong, and no wave so high that it can keep Jesus away. No matter what is happening around you, He is with you! And He is the Savior.
