The woman at the well had a checkered past with a bright future. What changed her destiny? She met someone who knew everything about her; the good, the bad, the ugly, and everything in between. The Lord met her there, in the truthful story of her life. He shared difficult facts with respect, honesty, and tender care. Her well of shame became a well of hope, and her thirsty soul was satisfied. Even so, the Lord knows all about you. He longs to talk with you from Heaven’s viewpoint to transform wells of shame into wells of hope.
