Many years ago, a big branch broke off from a huge willow tree in my yard. It was so large I had to hire someone to come and cut it into pieces to haul it away. It took a while for them to arrive, and the long strands of leaves connected to that branch soon withered away. A branch is not meant to stand on its own. It receives nutrients and life from the main trunk. Each of us is meant to find life and continual renewal as we stay connected to the Lord as our strength. From the overflow of our connection with Him, He keeps us vibrant and fruitful!
