When Jesus came from Heaven to dwell among us, He was coming to a world in dire need. Prejudice, oppression, and injustice were rampant. There was a palpable sense of fear throughout society. Yet, His coming was like an invasion of light! Jesus personified the love of God and everywhere He went, people encountered new life. No dark room has the ability to extinguish light. There is never a switch on any wall that is able to turn “on” the dark. Light always triumphs! Nothing can stop the love and light of Jesus from bringing hope, peace, and joy if we turn to Him to receive it. God’s light surrounds you today! He will overcome the darkness.
