An old adage proclaims, “In every cloud, there is a silver lining.” That can feel like a hard pill to swallow, though, when we are the ones surrounded by dark clouds. Yet, the truth is that progress always includes trials. Physical restoration often involves painful therapy. Mental growth demands effort and study. Even deep friendship requires the ongoing work of healthy relationship. While trials certainly test us, God works through them to make us stronger. Let’s trust Him today!
