“Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.” - Isaiah 60:3
During the time of Isaiah, the people of God were in the midst of serious hardship. There were continual threats from surrounding nations and lots of internal conflict as well. In fact, the northern kingdom of Israel was completely conquered by the Assyrians and things were looking more and more bleak for the south. Yet, God was giving promises for a bright future that would yet come through the Redeemer whom He would send. Never forget that even our darkest moments are not the end of the story for the Lord. Trust Him and turn to Him. He is a restorer and a healer!
