“Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord Himself, is the Rock eternal.” - Isaiah 26:4
In the time of Isaiah the prophet, the Israelites had suffered a series of relentless attacks by the surrounding nations. However, the Lord spoke and told them that their day of deliverance was sure. In anticipation of that, Isaiah began to call out a number of praises and declarations about God and His care. In every time of hardship, we can trust the Lord to bring us through as we follow Him. Like a massive rock, His faithfulness endures for all time. He doesn’t run from difficulty.
He’s not going anywhere. He is with us even now!
