“My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” - Exodus 33:14
During the days of Moses, the people faced difficult challenges. They had been freed from the control of the Pharaoh, but they were now trying to build a new life while journeying through the wilderness. This season of hardship lasted decades and their future felt unclear. Moses was deeply concerned about trying to lead them. He didn’t know if he was truly up to the task. That’s when God promised to be with him and to give him peace and rest throughout the journey.
As we face our own challenging days, at least one truth remains for us as well: the Lord is with us! Simply because of His great love and care, God has promised to remain in our midst. As we choose to trust in Him, we too can experience His peace and rest as we journey into tomorrow.
