The days of Esther were a difficult time in the history of the Jewish people. They had been taken captive and hauled out of their home county and were being ruled by Persia. More than that, a secret plot was attempting to see them all destroyed. Yet, God had arranged for Esther to become highly favored until she was made to be the Queen alongside King Xerxes. Her unique position allowed her to be in the right place, at the right time, to bring hope and protection for her people. Perhaps God has arranged something similar for us, placing us in such a role that He could work through us at just the right time to make a difference for Him. Trust in the Lord’s wisdom and care. He wants to work through you right where you are!
