“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” - Ephesians 6:11
In the Old Testament, the prophet Isaiah tells us as God works to bring about His justice, He wears armor. He puts on a breastplate of righteousness and wears the helmet of salvation (Is. 59:17). In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul instructs us to put on this same armor. When we embrace God’s armor for ourselves (His truth, His righteousness, divine peace, faith, the salvation He offers, the power of His Word, and more) we have all we need to stand up to whatever we might need to face! God equips those who trust in Him to stand strong!
