"...be filled with the Spirit..." - Ephesians 5:8
A sponge that is absolutely saturated with water will spill that water at the slightest touch. What about us? What comes out of us when life squeezes hard? Frustration? Anger? Worry? Sarcasm? Some other negative trait? It doesn’t have to be that way. We are meant to be continually saturated by the presence and character of the Holy Spirit. As we trust in Christ, as we call out to God to fill us anew, and as we live by the instruction of His Word, we can know the ongoing flow of the goodness of the Spirit.
