The believers in Ephesus faced significant opposition. Many in the city violently opposed the followers of Christ and life was hard. The Apostle Paul wrote to encourage them, and he reminded them that they were not standing alone. God had chosen them and was with them. He then prayed that they would experience wisdom and revelation from God to know Him better. As we come to know the Lord and His ways, there is always new strength and new hope to be found, even now!
