Reflection

The Apostle Peter wrote his second letter to followers of Christ who were feeling overwhelmed by the hardships of today and their fears about the future. However, the Lord is never nervous about the days to come and is not ever discouraged by the difficulties of right now. We can remain fully confident in His goodness and trust that there is more to life than this present moment. God, in His mercy, provides the grace we need to help us triumph today, regardless of our circumstances. By His Spirit, He wants to fill us with hope as we look forward to living in His presence for all eternity. We can look ahead, with joy in our hearts, knowing that the righteousness of God will prevail! Hold on to hope…the Lord is holding on to you!
