“I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9b-10
Why in the world would anyone boast in their weaknesses? For the Apostle Paul, they served as an opportunity to trust the Lord and to lean on the strength God provides. The Lord is never weak. His power is more than sufficient. When we come to the end of ourselves, His goodness is just beginning!
