Standing firm against overwhelming odds is the heartbeat of every action movie. We thrill with the sense of victory that is achieved as people choose to endure and overcome. Today’s verse serves as a reminder that every day we are meant to stand together. As we each give our all, standing shoulder to shoulder in the work of serving others with all that is in us, we end up being used by the Lord to make a tremendous difference in the lives of others. No individual task or duty is insignificant. Together, our efforts combine to accomplish something great. Keep serving, keep loving, keep standing strong. It’s more than worth it in the end!
