People look to all different sorts of resources to feel safe and secure. Sometimes people try to escape from the pressures of life by pursuing entertainment. Some people try to numb pain by abusing a bottle or other substances. Others find themselves caught up in unhealthy relationships or situations that they later regret. The psalmist, instead, finds security in a relationship with God. In the presence of the Lord, we all can find a safe place. He offers us hope when it seems that life has become a struggle. His Word will be our strength as we open our hearts to Him and believe!
