For a prolonged season, David was being hunted by his enemies. Everywhere he went, it seemed people were out to get him. He prayed for rescue, but his situation didn’t change overnight. As the days unfolded, he made a decision for how he would move forward. Instead of complaining, instead of rehearsing how unfair life was, he chose to sing out praise to God. Every day, he lifted his song and reminded himself of the Lord’s strength and love. Let’s also choose to rehearse the goodness of God. He is a refuge for all who trust in Him!
