“For no word from God will ever fail.” - Luke 1:37
The final words of the angel Gabriel to Mary are astounding. He had just proclaimed to her that she would supernaturally conceive and give birth to the Son of God who was coming into the world. This should have been an impossibility, but whatever God proclaims by His Word is filled with His glorious power. This means that His promises are faithful and sure! This not only includes what He proclaims to Mary, but also what He says to each of us through the Scripture. Like what? That whoever among us believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life! God is for us and we can trust His promise!
