“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us." - John 1:14
When the Apostle John introduces us to the person of Jesus, he works to clearly show that Christ is God and that He chose to come and live among us as one of us. Another translation of this same verse declares, “The Word became flesh and blood and moved into the neighborhood.” In other words, He came to be right in the middle of our every day lives. That idea is still true. He is not distant or far away. We may not always see Him with our eyes, but He is certainly here. Let’s choose to open our hearts to the Lord and to call out to Him. He loves us, He cares, and we can depend on Him!
