Psalm 40 celebrates the Lord’s mighty saving power. Our Heavenly Father is not indifferent to the struggles we experience. Rather, He deeply cares and is always at work to bring all things together for good. The trick is the waiting. When we’ve embraced the truth that God is ever good, it helps us to endure the pain and struggle of the moment. He sees us, He cares, He listens, and He moves at just the right time. Our job is to turn our cares over to Him and to trust Him. The Lord is faithful to His Word. Help is on the way!
