2nd Chronicles speaks of a very difficult time for the nation of Judah. God had made a promise to the king that if he would seek the Lord and stay true to Him, then he could know that the Lord would be with them and see them through. The challenge that all of us face is choosing to stay the course when it feels like there is only struggle all around us. God calls us to be people of faith, people who trust in His goodness and provision when times get tough. The Lord sees where we are…but He also sees where we will yet be. Let’s trust Him to lead us forward even as we redouble our efforts to serve Him with integrity and diligence. Because of Him, a better day will come!
