The Bible never instructs us to try to be good enough for God to love us. He already does! He loves us because He made us and we belong to Him. On our worst day, when we have felt the most unworthy and unlovable, God’s heart is still full of overwhelming compassion and care. God knows our short-comings, and Jesus still chose to give His life on our behalf. His sacrifice gives us a second chance and a new start. We can always turn to Him and begin again.
