"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful." - Colossians 4:2
The word “devote” is a strong word. It speaks of determined dedication; it represents whatever we tend to hold most dear and of the utmost importance. When we prioritize the importance of prayer, of staying alert in order to be of careful service, all while choosing to live with a grateful heart, we will also find the strength to be devoted in many other areas of our life as well. As we devote ourselves to the ways of Christ, may we find ever-growing zest and enthusiasm to make the most of the life He has given us!
