Our Heavenly Father loves each and every single one of us. He is always compassionate and kind and desires to draw us close to Him, especially in times of hardship. When we bring our needs before Him in prayer, He works to meet us right where we need Him most. The writer of this psalm was a person in great torment, overwhelmed by the difficulties that had overtaken his life. Even so, he chose to reach out to the Lord, trusting in God’s unfailing love. Are you in need today? Are there aspects of life that seem out of control? Let’s call on the name of the Lord. He hears…He cares…and He answers.
