The book of Lamentations is an extended heart cry from the prophet Jeremiah. Throughout the text, he recalls times of deep pain and bitter wandering. Yet, he also reminds himself of the reality of God’s great love and the fact that there is no end to the Lord’s compassion. Father God is extending fresh mercy to each of us even right now.
