Jesus was speaking to His disciples and doing His best to prepare them for hard days that would soon be upon them. They would soon watch Him be crucified and buried, and it would seem like the end of all their hopes and dreams. But He could see more than they could. What felt like overwhelming heartache would soon give way to the most glorious joy ever. As we trust the Lord, we may go through tough times, but those times are not the end. The Lord is with you, and joy is right around the corner! Take heart, better days are coming!
